About Us
We are a Jersey based company specialising in all aspects of lime pointing.
Lime Pointing Jersey (“LPJ”) is the the island’s only company specialising solely in lime pointing and granite restoration services. Established in October 2022, the company has quickly become an indispensable asset to property owners across Jersey.
Brandon Le Long (LPJ’s founder and sole director) is dedicated to restoring granite back to its former glory. Brandon’s ethos of ‘service with a smile’ and his belief that ‘no job is too small’ are the very reason LPJ has been the talk of the town when it comes to granite work. These values are reflected in every project, ensuring that each client receives a personalised and top-quality service. This is Brandon’s vision.
As the only specialised lime pointing service in Jersey, LPJ stands out for its unique contribution to preserving the island’s architectural heritage. The majority of Jersey architecture is built in granite — and proper lime pointing is crucial for waterproofing and enhancing the longevity of stone/granite structure. Brandon takes pride in ensuring that his work does this.
Brandon is passionate about removing all cement pointing from granite properties, and replacing it with lime pointing — given the issues surrounding cement pointing (such as damp and the inability for the granite to breathe and move). Whilst doing the work, Brandon chooses to educate his clients on the benefit of different techniques so that they can make an informed decision.
In its very short life, LPJ has been demonstrating a commitment to service excellence — and a deep respect for Jersey’s architectural legacy. Brandon promises to continue with his mission of maintaining the beauty and integrity of properties across the island.
